Depuis la cérémonie pour le retrait de son maillot la semaine dernière, Tony Parker est très présent dans les médias français. Lundi, le président de l'ASVEL a répondu aux questions de Yahoo Sports. L'une d'entre elles portait sur le joueur qu'il a trouvé le plus fort parmi tous les adversaires durant sa longue et brillante carrière. Il ne s'agit ni de LeBron James, ni de Michael Jordan.
"C'est Kobe Bryant. Le meilleur joueur de l'histoire, c'est Michael Jordan. Mais quand je l'ai affronté, il était en fin de carrière. Celui qui se rapproche le plus de "MJ", c'est Kobe. Dans ses moves, dans l'attitude, dans tout... Le plus fort aujourd'hui, c'est LeBron James".
Tony Parker et les Spurs ont affronté Kobe et LeBron à plusieurs reprises lors de séries de playoffs. Le "King" est en revanche le seul avec lequel il a croisé le fer lors de Finales NBA, à deux reprises, en 2013 et 2014.
