Les Cavs n'ont pas mis leur trio en action cette nuit puisque seuls LeBron James et Kyrie Irving étaient présents cette nuit pour la venue de Dallas. Le "Chosen One" et "Uncle Drew" ont peaufiné leur entente et le meneur All-Star a particulièrement brillé (23 points et 5 passes), mais Cleveland ne s'en est pas pour autant imposé face à une bonne équipe des Mavs. Chandler Parsons et Jameer Nelson, deux des recrues estivales, ont chacun inscrit 19 points.
