Dallas Mavericks 123-120 Houston Rockets
On ne sait pas si Mark Cuban est allé charrier Dwight Howard après la victoire à l'arraché des Mavs face aux Rockets, mais ce n'est sans doute pas l'envie qui lui a manqué. Menés et dépassés par Houston pendant la quasi totalité de la rencontre, les joueurs de Rick Carlisle ont profité d'un terrible coup de mou de leurs visiteurs pour renverser la vapeur dans le dernier quart-temps. La doublette Dirk Nowitzki-Monta Ellis a fait très fort, puisque le "Wunderkind" et le "Mississipi Missile" ont respectivement inscrit 35 et 37 pts à 13/20 et 13/18 au shoot (!), pour rivaliser avec un D12 quasi parfait à l'intérieur (33 pts, 11 rbds à 12/16 et 9/13 sur la ligne).
