Libéré de son contrat avec le Utah Jazz après un buyout, Kendrick Perkins a trouvé un accord avec les Cleveland Cavaliers pour rejoindre l'équipe.

Comme prévu, Kendrick Perkins n'est pas resté longtemps sous contrat avec le Utah Jazz, l'intérieur a rapidement négocié un buyout afin de rejoindre dès lundi les Cleveland Cavaliers. Selon les informations d'Adrian Wojnarowski de Yahoo Sports, l'ancien du Thunder d'Oklahoma City a trouvé un accord avec les Cavs sur les recommandations d'un certain LeBron James. Avec la blessure d'Anderson Varejao, l'effectif de David Blatt avait clairement un manque dans le secteur intérieur et Kendrick Perkins devrait avoir un impact très intéressant en sortie de banc.
