Evan Fournier faisait ses grands débuts avec les Nuggets hier soir lors du premier match de summer league de Denver. Dans le cinq, le Français a pu bénéficier de près de 32 minute de temps de jeu pour faire valoir ses qualités. Au final, il termine la partie avec 10 points à 3/8, 5 rebonds dont 3 offensifs, 1 passe, un steal et 5 fautes.
Match intéressant pour Evan qui n’aura néanmoins pas empêché les Warriors de mettre une petite claque à leurs adversaires notamment en 2e mi-temps grâce au duo Harrison Barnes (13 pts mais 5/17 et 7 rbds) Charles Jenkins (24 pts à 9/12). Klay Thompson aura lui aussi été plutôt performant avec 17-6-4.
Côté Denver, c’est Hamilton qui termine meilleur scoreur avec 18 points tandis que Faried aura beaucoup shooté et beaucoup raté : 10 pts à 4/15. L’intérieur aura néanmoins réussi le plus beau passage défensif de la soirée avec 3 contres en 10 secondes.
